Our Team
Despite being a young and small organization, MUWEI boasts a well-balanced team of professionals with nearly 10 years of experience in areas such as health, economic empowerment, humanitarian action, sustainable agrifood systems, land tenure, and monitoring and evaluation. Our team is skilled in using digital platforms like ODK, Kobo Collect, Google Tools and EDMIS for conducting surveys and gathering data.
In addition, the team is well-versed in legal compliance, safeguarding, protection, and financial management. We have a deep understanding of the Elgon region, including its people, culture, livelihoods, and leadership dynamics. We are also familiar with the region’s vulnerabilities, such as food insecurity caused by poor farming practices, land fragmentation, erosion, floods, and the need for humanitarian responses.
This diverse expertise allows us to address the unique challenges faced by communities in the Elgon region and deliver impactful, sustainable solutions.
